You can charge for top-ups by the session with a flat rate, by the time, or per kWh of electricity consumed. There are no fixed rules, so it's up to you to make your own rules based on what's best for you and your customers.

• Time-based invoicing allows you to penalise drivers who remain connected to a terminal when they have already filled up. 
• Charging per kWh means that vehicles with slower recharging speeds are not penalised. 

When it comes to invoicing for use of the recharging point, there are several solutions. You can either invoice manually, or you can automate invoicing using the supervision system. 

A terminal supervision system enables data to be fed back to users so that they can be invoiced automatically. (Recharging history, consumption, displaying the status of free or occupied charging points, defining tariffs and managing billing, geolocation, etc.).

Of course, you can offer recharging at your chargepoints, depending on the strategy you wish to adopt.

• Slow charging: it recovers around 20 km/hour 

It's a good start, but this type of recharging may frustrate some customers, who will have to wait a long time before being able to collect their car.

• Accelerated charging : it recovers up to 50 km/hour

This type of top-up is very popular with users, as it can open the doors to a more occasional clientele (lunches or nights out) who are not going to spend the night in your establishment.

For this type of refill, it is more profitable to charge for it. 

There is little point in setting up only very powerful charging points. For those who want to charge their vehicles overnight, they will occupy the charging point for a long time without it being necessary. For this type of situation, a more average charging point will do the trick. On the other hand, for customers who are just passing through, a more powerful charging point will be essential.

The terminals installed in hotels are divided into 3 AC power levels:

- 7 kW single-phase

- 11 kW and 22 kW three-phase

7 kW: 30-40 km

11 kw : 60-70 km

22 kW :100-120 km

The price of a charging point varies according to model, brand and power. But generally speaking, the cost of a charging point is 2 to 5 times less than the cost of installing it.

The cost of installation increases according to a number of parameters, including the distance of the cable between the bollard and its power supply connection point, the potential trenches to be dug and the electrical panels to be installed.

• the price of electrical installations The work involved: supplying the bollards with cables, installing a circuit breaker, creating an external cabinet, creating a cable duct on the wall, the number of metres of cable required, etc.
• The price of civil engineering The work will include: road markings, painting all the parking spaces, creating an anchoring base for the bollard supports, making asphalt trenches for the cable to pass through or in topsoil to supply the bollards, and installing bollard protection pins,
• The 3-year maintenance contract, compulsory to obtain an Advenir premium

Each installation is unique, because it depends on the specific needs and location of the bollards.

Installing a recharging point allows you to benefit from ADVENIR aid. To benefit from the ADVENIR subsidy, you will need to take out the Supervision, Subscription and Maintenance options.
