AGM batteries are a type of battery watertight. In a AGM battery, the electrolyte is liquid but held in place by fibres. So there's no risk of leakage, and the battery can operate without being completely flat.
AGM batteries can generally withstand a large number of cycles and high depths of discharge. They also have a good resistance to cold. An electric vehicle fitted with an AGM battery will therefore be more resistant to outdoor weather conditions.
