A Chademo charging socket is a popular socket for charging electric vehicle batteries, launched in 2010.

This type of plug is mainly used in Japanese clean vehicles. It was designed by Japan itself with the aim of standardising fast charging of electric vehicle batteries.

Which cars are fitted with a Chademo socket?

Nissan Leaf , Kia Soul EV, Nissan e-NV200 Mitsubishi iMiev, Citroën C-Zero, Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and even some Tesla models.
