1. Shopping

Forgot to buy the elements for your holiday? Many charging stations, like supermarkets, provide charging points for their customers.

Generally speaking, when you recharge your electric car, you'll be back for a few minutes, or even a few hours. To make the most of this time, if you find a shopping centre or small shop nearby, you can go and do a bit of shopping.

2. Watch a film or series

Maybe there's a series or film you've always wanted to watch, but haven't really followed.

While you're waiting, you can watch your favourite series or film again. If you are equipped with a latest-generation electric car, a central screen is integrated with an internet connection and a host of functions, as on the Tesla Model Y or Model 3.

You'll be able to access several streaming platforms for series, films and documentaries. An episode of around forty minutes is more than enough to recharge your electric vehicle.

3. Read a book

After a good drive surrounded by screens (dashboard screen, central screen), resting those eyes doesn't hurt. To do this, you can completely disconnect from the screens by reading a book while your vehicle is charging.

4. Going for a walk

If you've stopped off at a small park with charging points available, you can take the opportunity to walk around while your vehicle is charging.

Get some fresh air and stretch your legs at the same time, ideal for recharging your physical batteries!

5. Learn how an electric car works and recharges

Not everyone is familiar with electric vehicles. While your car is charging, you can take the opportunity to learn more about how it works. You'll know how to maintain it and keep it running for longer.

This activity is even more interesting if you're travelling with children. It's an activity for them to do and an opportunity for them to learn more about the types of vehicle that will be used in the future.

In fact, to help you understand how electric cars work, we have a number of videos, including practical guides, videos of electric cars, and more. tutorialsand vehicle testing and even testimonials from our customers. Visit our YouTube channel and our blog !

6. Keeping well hydrated

While your electric car is recharging, it's important for you, as the driver, to remember to stay hydrated so that you can keep going and withstand the heat.

So take some time to buy a bottle of water, find a watering hole or even have a water fight if you're travelling with children.

7. Resting

A basic but very important piece of advice. The heat and the journey can make you feel tired, in which case you should stop.

Stretch your legs and find a shady spot for a quiet siesta.

Conclusion

All these simple actions will help pass the time while your electric vehicle is charging.

These actions apply not only during the summer months, but all year round.
