BYD Seagull
The brand BYD (Build Your Dreams) presents one of its new products, scheduled for 2024. It's a small electric city car 3.78 m long, 1.74 m wide and 1.54 m high. It will be available in two versions, one with a 74 bhp engine (with a battery 30 kWh battery) and the other 100 bhp (with a 38 kWh battery). It will offer a autonomy 305 km for the first version and 405 km for the second.
Seagull has already conquered the heart of the Chinese market, in just 24 hours, it has already registered over 10,000 pre-orders at a price equivalent to €10,300 (78,000 Yuan).
We can therefore hope that when it is launched on the European market, it will be priced at less than €20,000. Enough to compete with the Dacia Spring very well known as the benchmark low-cost city car.
BYD Dolphin
The BYD Dolphin was also presented at the show. Like the electric car Designed by Wolfgang Egger in a style known as "Marine Aesthetic". Already present on the Chinese market, it is announced this time for the European market. Electric cars are smaller than European ones, so it will be adapted with a length of 4.29 metres instead of 4.12 metres.
It is set to become one of the competitors of the MG4which was very popular with the French after its arrival. It uses the same engine as the BYD Atto 3 with a 150 kW (204 hp) engine. Its arrival in France is scheduled for summer 2023, with a price tag of less than €30,000.
MG Cyberster
