Skoda Auto was founded in 1895 in Pilsen, Czech Republic. Initially specializing in the production of trucks, then military equipment during the First World War, the company launched its automotive division and its first production car: the torpedo. What's next for electric Skoda?
Skoda plans to release a city car and two SUVs in the coming years.
In 2024, an electric compact SUV is due to be launched.
In 2025, it will be a city car on the same base as a Volkswagen ID.3, and the brand's aim is to price it at €25,000, excluding the environmental bonus.
Finally, in 2026, it will be a large SUV with seating for seven. If it follows the Vision 7S prototype, it should have an 89 kWh battery and 600 km range.
