The range of an electric van varies according to its model. For example, a Renault Master e-Tech will have a range of 175 km, while a Renault Kangoo e-Tech will have a range of 300 km.
Range also depends on your driving habits and the weather.
In the case of the Renault Kangoo e-Tech electric van, it will take 40 minutes on a fast charge to recharge it from 20 % to 80 %.
Electric vans are slightly more expensive to buy than their internal combustion counterparts. However, their total cost of ownership is significantly lower than that of a petrol vehicle, because they require less maintenance and fuel costs are lower.
If you buy an electric light commercial vehicle, you can claim an ecological bonus of €4,000 and a conversion premium of :
- 5,000 (class 1)
- 7,000 (class 2)
- 9,000 (class 3)

Of course you can! It's perfectly possible to cover long distances, even with an electric van. What's more, the law requires a break every two hours on long journeys, so you can recharge your range at that time.
