The smart #1 is a 100 % electric vehicle. The maximum power of the Smart #1 is 200 kW (272 bhp) and it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds.
The smart #1 is priced from €39,990 for sale in France. This price includes VAT. This price does not include the environmental bonus, which is deducted when you buy a new clean car in France. In addition to the environmental bonusyou may also be eligible for conversion premium and regional aids.
Companies also benefit from advantageous taxation on the purchase of a 100 % electric vehicle.
La smart battery #1 has a total capacity of 66 kWh. This gives a range of around 420 km with a battery charged to 100 %. Actual range, however, will depend on a number of factors, including climate, road conditions, whether or not air conditioning is used, and driving style.

Nicolas Hayek, who was then Chairman of Swatch, the Swiss watch manufacturer. In 1991, Volkswagen showed an interest in the project, but withdrew due to the economic crisis. Mercedes-Benz decided to take over, having already worked on a similar concept in-house. The first prototypes saw the light of day in 1994. After a rocky start, the small car enjoyed commercial success in the cities, thanks in particular to its flagship model: the smart Fortwo. Its big sister, the smart Forfour, was launched in 2004. It was later redesigned in 2014 to make way for the smart Forfour II, designed on the basis of the Twingo III. smart has thus become a benchmark in terms of mini city cars.
