Mercedes: EQB and EQA get an update
In the light of Tesla's latest performance, Mercedes is taking its cue from the American brand by downsizing some of its ranges, notably the EQA and EQB. Unlike Tesla, there are no discounts on these electric Mercedes.
The new version of these models can be seen on the new finish called Edition.
How much does the EQB and EQA cost?
For the price of these two electric SUVsthe prices are the same, starting at €46,950. These prices have not been chosen by chance, since they make them eligible for the ecological bonus. So, with the €5,000 subsidy deducted, the price comes to €41,950.
What's more, the battery capacity on both models is also similar, at 140 kW and 190 hp, with a useful capacity of 70.5 kWh and 385 Nm of torque. With these features, the EQA 250+ Edition cancover up to 532 km in the combined WLTP cycle, and up to 507 km for the EQB 250+.

Concerning marketing, the EQB Edition and EQA Edition are already available to order from July 1, 2023, while stocks last, according to the latest information on the Mercedes-Benz website. The manufacturer also adds that delivery of these 2 electric Mercedes is scheduled before December 27, 2023*..
These new attractive prices for the EQB and EQA serve two purposes for Mercede-Benz. On the one hand, this is not only a way for the German manufacturer to counter its competitor Tesla in the electric car price war. On the other hand, the new prices enable motorists to buy an electric Mercedes while benefiting from the ecological bonus.
