Kia Niro EV 2022: new prices and even faster charging

Kia Niro EV 64 kWh

The Kia Niro EV 2022: what can we expect? The Korean manufacturer is unveiling a new version of its flagship electric SUV: the Kia Niro EV.

When it was launched in 2018, the KIA E Niro was the first SUV compact to promise us a autonomy on a combined cycle of 289 km for the battery 39.2 kWh and 455 km for the 64 kWh battery. Its range has made it a great success within the Niro range, accounting for more than a third of sales in France.

For this year 2022, Kia has launched a new offer under the name of "Kia Niro EV".

Firstly, the addition of a 10.25-inch screen combined with the UVO Connect online service. There's also a cosmetic change to the LED rear lights, with a modification to the interior design, as well as the dashboard, which has been redesigned for the occasion.

As for the battery, an on-board three-phase charger has been introduced. On the Kia Niro EV, it reduces charging time from 9.50 hours to 7 hours at suitable charging points.
