Install your connected charging point and make the transition to ecomobility

A charging point connected: this is a terminal that is simply connected to the internet. This type of terminal allows you to manage and monitor energy consumption remotely.

Every time the vehicle is plugged in, the charging point sends data to a backup platform, more commonly known as the cloud. Intelligent charging then adapts the charge according to the data collected. This feature makes it possible to regulate charging speed, power and time. 

When the charging point is connected to the internet, you can control it using an application linked to the charging point.

You will be able to :

• Monitor the status of your terminal remotely 
• Activate or deactivate the remote charging point 
• Monitor the consumption of your charging point (speed, duration and charging power)
• Schedule a time when you want to charge your electric vehicle and take advantage of off-peak times to reduce the cost of your charge.

Of course, for this remote system to work, make sure you have a stable internet connection.

As with all bollards, the installation price is not fixed. It varies according to your project and your needs. The cost will depend on a number of factors, including :

• The number of connected charging points to be installed 
• Electric vehicles: depending on charging capacity, charging cables, etc.
• The power delivered by charging stations
• Location of connected terminals
• Bollard make and model 

As a rough guide, if you are a private individual wishing to install a connected charging point, you should allow between €1,400 and €2,000 for installation. 

What's more, according to Article 278-0 Bis, you can also take advantage of a VAT rate of 5.5 % for the Energy Transition Tax Credit (CITE), provided that :

• Your property must have been completed more than 2 years ago.
• The installation and supply of the terminal must be included on a single invoice.
• The bollard you wish to install must comply with the following standards from NF15-100.
• The installer must be IRVE (Infrastructure de Recharge pour Véhicules Électriques) certified.

However, if your home is less than 2 years old, the VAT rate of 20 % will apply.

If you are a company, the budget varies according to the number of terminals to be installed:

• 1 terminal: €1,800 to €3,000
• 2 terminals: €3,000 to €5,000
• For more than 2 terminals, you'll need to budget more than €5,000. If you wish, you can discuss this directly with one of our Beev experts.

The amount of the tax credit for the installation of an electric vehicle charging point is :

• 500 per charging system for a connected charging point
• 300 per charging system for a non-connected charging point, with or without load shedding

The difference in price between the two types of terminal is due to the additional functions offered by connected terminals.
