The best recharging point installers by city and region

Would you like to install a recharging point?

Do you have a question about our services? Perhaps we already answered already answered it!

While the European Union plans to ban the sale of new combustion-powered vehicles throughout the EU by 2035As a result, there will be greater demand for electric vehicles from motorists over the next few years. To meet this demand, it will be necessary to install charging points so that all motorists can have easy access to recharging their vehicles.

As we mentioned earlier, as well as meeting demand, the region wants to become the benchmark for electric mobility.

What's more, the installation of charging points offers a number of advantages for both private individuals and businesses:

  • companies : Installing charging points in your company car park will consolidate your commitment to the energy transition, strengthen your CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and enhance the comfort of your employees, if they already have an electric car. They will be able to recharge their vehicle easily. What's more, recharging stations can also boost your brand's profile and visibility on applications such as Chargemap or Googlemaps. This way, customers or visitors can easily find the location of your charging points and use them to recharge their electric vehicle.
  • individuals : While the current number of charging points in France is not yet sufficient for all motorists, having one close at hand means you can save energy and avoid having to travel miles to find one elsewhere. What's more, did you know that installing charging points in your home (especially in detached houses) adds value to your property? In fact, when your home is put up for sale or rent, the bollard will make it more attractive to the buyer and make life easier for him or her if he or she wishes to recharging your electric car

Before you think about installing charging points, you should know that private individuals and businesses can install charging points for their electric vehicles. Wherever you live: in a detached house, a second home or a condominium.

There are several factors to consider when choosing a charging point:

  • what is the maximum charging power your vehicle can accept? (it all depends on the capacity of the vehicle's battery)
  • how far do you travel each day?
  • How often should I recharge?

Once you have answered these questions, it will be much easier for you to choose your charging point according to the power of the charging point you are looking for:

  • slow charge: 3.7 kW to recover around 15 km of range per hour
  • normal charge: 7.4 kW to recover around 30 km of range per hour
  • normal charge: 11 kW to recover around 60 km of range per hour
  • fast charge: 22 kW to recover around 120 km of range per hour

If you need help choosing your next bollard, don't hesitate to contact us. Beev team

You can't install an electric charging point yourself, unless you're an IRVE (Infrastructure de Recharge pour Véhicule Électrique) certified installer. In accordance with the decree of 12 January 2017 (no. 2017-26)Under the terms of the decree, it is compulsory to use an installer with probationary or definitive IRVE qualification. The decree also stipulates that the charging point must have a power rating of more than 3.7 kW. This means you can benefit from theADVENIR assistance

If you're interested in the subject, there are specialised training courses for becoming an IRVE installer. To do so, turn to Qualifelec and AFNORTo find out more, read the list of organisations approved to issue IRVE certification. To find out more, read this article which gives you information on become an IRVE installer.

In "enclosed and covered" car parks, it will be possible to install a charging point if the resident so wishes. To assert this right, a registered letter must be sent to the owner if you are a tenant and to the syndic if you are an owner.

If you live in a detached house, charging stations are always installed by an experienced technician who has undergone IRVE (Infrastructure de Recharge pour Véhicules électriques) training.

As far as grants are concerned, detached houses are not eligible for the ADVENIR grant. However, you may be eligible for other grants, such as the rate of VAT reduced to 5.5 %. Enough to pay for the equipment and installation of low-cost terminals.
