Charging station Colmar: We've selected the best installers for you. Are you the proud owner (or future owner) of an electric car and want to install a charging point for your vehicle in Colmar? We're here to help! We've listed the best charging point installers here, to make it easier for you to find your way around. We'll tell you about the prices they charge, the support they can give you, and much more!
Off we go!
In towns like Colmar, electric cars are gaining in popularity. They allow you to make your daily journeys at a lower cost, while helping to protect the environment. What's more, with the end of combustion-powered cars inevitable, it's a good idea to invest now, rather than wait until they are finally banned in 2040!
Colmar already has a well-developed recharging network, with 87 charging points listed in the town. These include fast-charging stations offering up to 150 kW of power, such as the R3 Colmar station in the Norauto car park. Despite this public network, many electric vehicle users prefer to install a charging point at home or at their place of work for greater convenience.
To help you with your project, we've put together a list of the best charging point installers in Colmar and the Haut-Rhin region, including My Electricity, which has specialised in electrical installations since 2010, and HK RENOV, renowned for its fast, efficient installations.
Your electric car will be most useful if it is recharged every day, so you can plan ahead for unexpected journeys, even long ones. In this case, it is important and useful to have a home charging point. Even if the charging network in Colmar can be very useful and beneficial for troubleshooting, with the R3 Colmar station in particular offering fast charging stations of up to 150 kW, it will not be sufficient for daily charging, or at least it will be less comfortable. With a home charging point, you can recharge your vehicle directly from your garage or parking space, at any time, without constraint. This means fewer unscheduled detours, more freedom to get around and simpler management of your day-to-day life.
The cost of recharging in Colmar varies according to the type of charging point used and the recharging location. Here's an overview of the different costs:
1. Home recharging :
- With a standard terminal: around 5.30 euros for 100 km.
- With an intelligent terminal: around 2.50 euros per 100 km.
2. Charging at a public charging point :
- The cost can vary from free to 30 euros for a full charge.
- At the R3 Colmar station (Norauto car park), fast charging points of up to 150 kW are available. Although the exact price is not given, fast charging points are generally more expensive.
3. Recharging on motorways or fast charging points :
- Approximately €10.60 for 100 km.
It's important to note that these costs are estimates and may vary depending on a number of factors, including the model of vehicle, its consumption and current electricity tariffs. What's more, recharging at home is generally the most economical option, with savings of up to €1,300 a year compared with a combustion vehicle.
The type of recharge you choose will depend on your vehicle's battery. If your vehicle has a large battery with a longer range, it will require a longer recharge time or more power.
For this reason, the charging power you choose will have a considerable impact:
Charges of more than 50 kW (fast charge) are very rare. You'll probably only find them on motorways.
There are two ways of recharging your vehicle at home or at work:
Are you a company looking to install recharging points? Don't hesitate to download our white paper.
Here are a few criteria that must be taken into account when choosing your installer:
Not everyone can be an installer! It is imperative that the company you choose has IRVE certification, to ensure that the installation is of high quality and is carried out correctly and in compliance with standards. What's more, companies that are not IRVE-certified will not be eligible for government and regional grants.
Just like any other electrical installation, installing a charging point is subject to strict rules and specific standards. If these rules are not respected, not only will the warranty not be valid, but you will certainly have problems with your bollard.
Making an investment of this scale will inevitably raise questions on your part, questions that deserve answers. What's more, it's important to establish a relationship of trust between you and the installer, so that you can install your bollard with complete peace of mind.
Still relating to our previous point, if your installer is a trustworthy one, he will be transparent with you. Explaining the installation process to you from A to Z is important and shows you how serious your installer is.
To find the best installers, don't worry. Our team takes care of everything, from A to Z. Our network of partners includes IRVE-certified installers. Thanks to their expertise, your bollard installation will be safe and trouble-free.
