The roll-out, led by Elsass Recharge (ENGIE and Freshmile), offers charging points ranging from 22 to 150 kW, tailored to different recharging needs. 95 charging points are already operational, with 160 more planned in the near future.
These investments are part of the Low Emission Zone (ZFE) strategy, which has already prevented 800 tonnes of CO2 emissions. Strasbourg is thus positioning itself as a pioneer in electric and sustainable mobility.

Charging points in Strasbourg: extending the network of charging points
The Strasbourg Eurometropolis currently has a growing network of charging points for electric vehicles:
- 95 recharging points have already been installed and are operational in the region.
- These charging points offer a power range from 22 to 150 kW, adapted to different recharging needs.
- A total of 255 charging stations, or 500 charging points, are planned by the end of 2025.
- A further 160 charging points will be installed on public land from summer 2023 until the end of 2025.
The new charging points currently being rolled out have two charge points:
- A 24 kW DC point
- A 22 kW alternating current point
Despite these efforts, the recharging network continues to develop to meet the growing demand from electric vehicle drivers. The Eurometropole of Strasbourg and ENGIE Solutions are committed to stepping up deployment to support the transition to electric mobility and improve air quality as part of the Low Emission Mobility Zone (ZFE-m).
This development is part of a national strategy to support the growth in sales of electric cars and facilitate their adoption by users.

For individual use, you can receive aid of 50 % of the installation cost, with a ceiling of €600 excluding VAT per charging point. If you live in a condominium, specific assistance is available for collective infrastructures, up to €5,000 excluding VAT for infrastructure and roadwork.
- Tax credit In addition to the ADVENIR programme, you can take advantage of a €500 tax credit for installing a controllable, connected charging point in your home. This tax credit, valid until 31 December 2025, applies to both primary and secondary residences, whether you own or rent. It corresponds to 75% of the expenditure incurred for the purchase and installation, up to a limit of €500 per charging point.
