Mercedes-Benz is a German car manufacturer best known for its premium, sports and luxury models. It was Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler who created the Mercedes-Benz story in 1886 by joining forces. Mercedes-Benz has sold 134 cars and light commercial vehicles since the 1950s. Long a laggard when it comes to electric vehicles, the group is making up for lost time by announcing top-of-the-range vehicles from 2018, including the EQC400 4MATIC. With an electric motor equivalent to 402 bhp and immediate acceleration, the EQC is said to be capable of doing the famous 0-60 mph test (roughly 100 km/h) in 4.9 seconds.
