Performance
The Volvo XC40 is a 100 % electric vehicle. The maximum power of the Volvo XC40 is 150 kW (408 bhp) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds.
Each owner of the Volvo XC40 benefits from our exclusive 7-year New Vehicle Warranty, which even includes cover for the lithium-ion polymer 11 battery. This warranty is transferable to the new owner if the vehicle is resold.
Prices
The Volvo XC40 recharge starts at €48,950 for sale in France. This price does not include the ecological bonus, which is deducted when you buy a new clean car in France. In addition to the environmental bonus, you may also be eligible for the conversion allowance and regional grants.
Companies also benefit from tax breaks when they buy a 100 % electric vehicle.
Refill
The battery of the Volvo XC40 has a total capacity of 69 kWh. The range is around 418 km on a 100 % charge. Actual range, however, will depend on a number of factors, including climate, road conditions, whether or not air conditioning is used, and driving style.
Recharging is via a Type 2 connector, and the on-board charger has a maximum output of 11 kW (optional). This means that a fully discharged battery can be recharged in around 7 hours 30 minutes.
Fast charging is made possible by a CCS connection. Rapid charging charges the battery from 0% to 80% in around 40 minutes. Please note that the battery cannot be charged continuously at this power.
