Top 5: which electric sports car should you choose?

Tesla Model 3

Electric sports cars are becoming more and more widespread and are winning over drivers with more than just the noise of the engine. Technological advances are enabling manufacturers of electric sports cars to make the most of the potential of electric motors in terms of performance and efficiency.autonomy that can make sporty electric cars and internal combustion engines compete in this market.

What we generally expect from a sports car are sensations, acceleration and, of course, speed. The electric car perfectly meets these criteria. With its single-speed gearbox, it offers much more immediate maximum torque than internal combustion models, and is therefore more responsive when starting off.

What's more, the electric motor and regenerative braking makes electric sports cars more economical and cleaner. In the current context, these last points are the most important. In fact, they guarantee the continuity of sports cars in the automotive market. Given that the issue of CO2 emissions is becoming increasingly important, and that the tightening of the ecologic malus drastically increases the cost of a combustion sports car. In fact, it could be as much as 20,000 on 1 May 2020 for a 213 g/km vehicle.
