As part of its Contrat de Relance et de Transition Écologique (CRTE), Saint-Lô Agglo has defined strategic priorities for the next six years, one of which is specifically dedicated to sustainability and environmental innovation. The Territoire engagé Climat-Air-Energie action plan for the period 2024-2025 bears witness to this commitment, with the appointment of an ecological transition project manager to steer these efforts.

The electric car market continues to attract many French people. There are several ways of powering your car: you can go to a recharging station, or you can opt to have an electric vehicle installed in your home. charging point at home. Let's take a look at this last point and its advantages.
At the moment, electric vehicles are still in full expansion, but many users are finding it difficult to find charging stations: either because there are no more spaces available, or because the charging system is not adapted to their vehicle.
The solution to this problem is to install a charging point directly in your home.
First of all, having a charging point at home means you can charge your vehicle freely. From home, you can charge your vehicle at any time and be free to go about your business.
This means you won't be dependent on charging stations in public car parks.
What's more, the charging point is still a safe bet in terms of safety. Charging stations are fitted with circuit breakers and switches. In fact, we strongly advise against regularly recharging your electric vehicle using a standard 10 A socket, to avoid any risk of overheating the components and causing a fire.
Secondly, there are environmental reasons for installing a charging point. From your home, the charging points will enhance the value of your building or residence. This will attract potential buyers and tenants for future sales of the property.
In addition to having a charging point at home, if you install photovoltaic panelsYou'll be able to recharge your vehicle and use 100 % of the sustainable energy from these panels. So these actions represent an impact towards more sustainable mobility.
