All the grants for buying an electric car in 2024

A recent government announcement specified a reduction in the amount of the environmental bonus for certain French taxpayers, particularly those in the five highest income brackets. This reduction is reflected in a drop in the aid granted for the purchase of new electric cars, from €5,000 to €4,000 for these taxpayers.

For less well-off households, however, the amount of assistance remains unchanged, with the bonus maintained at €7,000. It should be noted that the limit on reference tax income per unit, used as a criterion of distinction, has been adjusted upwards, from €14,089 to €15,400.
