Top electric cars with the best value for money

hyundai ioniq 5

What are the electric cars with the best value for money? We're going to take a look at the most cost-effective electric cars on the market today. This ranking does not take into account the purchase price, only the fuel consumption of the vehicles.

Although electric vehicles have not yet reached the same price as their combustion counterparts, they are generally much cheaper to run and maintain.

Some electric vehicles are much more economical than others. For example, theAudi e-tron consumes almost twice as much energy as vehicles such as the Tesla Model 3 and the Hyundai Kona Electric.

It's true that the calculations are not that simple. Electricity rates vary greatly depending on the region, the energy supplier, local policies and negotiated tariffs. However, even with high electricity prices, the electric cars are cheaper to run than their combustion-powered equivalents

But not all electric vehicles are created equal. Some consume more energy than others, and it can be hard to know which is which. That's why we've listed the most economical electric cars.
