Install your charging stations with Beev and attract new customers. Support from A to Z, completely free of charge, from an expert who will monitor your project.
This can help you to recoup the cost of the charging points. It takes around 2 to 3 years to recoup the cost of installing a charging point by charging users (at €0.40/kWh, which is the average market price).
Benefit from better internet referencing.
Your charging points will be visible on Google, Apple and even the manufacturers' search engines.
Stay competitive by offering more services than your competitors.
Customers with electric cars will be more likely to return to your establishment.
Electric vehicles are taking over our roads. Today, all carmakers either already offer electric vehicles or are planning to do so. In fact, electric cars will account for 10 % of the new car market in 2022. One year later electric cars are making headway in France, with a share of 13 % in January 2023. So it's vital for your hotel to stay one step ahead of the competition. By offering recharging, your hotel can attract more guests, appeal to affluent customers who spend more, and establish your brand as a player committed to sustainable development.
By investing today in charging points for electric vehicles and exploiting the crucial role of the hotel industry in today's energy transition from transport to electric vehicles, hotels will attract the customers of tomorrow.

After 3 weeks of use, I'm completely satisfied with this bollard. It's very discreet and can be controlled remotely using an intuitive application.
Very good operation. Installation of a charging point. Very satisfied with the result.

Yes, according to Deloitte, 95 % of people travelling for work think that the hotels should invest more in renewable energies.
Even if not all customers will use your charging points because they don't yet have electric vehicles, they will value your efforts and you will be able to enjoy the image of a company that is working to promote sustainable development and ecology.
Yes, by deciding to install charging points in your establishment, you are opening the door to a high-end clientele.
Electric vehicle users are a target group with high purchasing power. This is largely due to the price of electric vehicles, which are owned by people who are committed to the environment and prepared to pay the price to meet their commitments.
One of the benefits mentioned was that charging points can help you increase your income.
While some hotels offer top-ups to guests, you can also charge for them to supplement your income.
As a hotel manager, you have 2 options:
You can charge for top-ups by the session with a flat rate, by the time, or per kWh of electricity consumed. There are no fixed rules, so it's up to you to make your own rules based on what's best for you and your customers.
When it comes to invoicing for use of the recharging point, there are several solutions. You can either invoice manually, or you can automate invoicing using the supervision system.
A terminal supervision system enables data to be fed back to users so that they can be invoiced automatically. (Recharging history, consumption, displaying the status of free or occupied charging points, defining tariffs and managing billing, geolocation, etc.).
Of course, you can offer recharging at your chargepoints, depending on the strategy you wish to adopt.
Charging points in your hotels represent a financial and marketing gain. Your CSR policy and your compliance with future measures will be satisfied by installing charging stations in your hotel!
If you can't analyse your customers' vehicles, you can analyse their behaviour.
By coming to the hotel, your customers are more likely to park for more than 2 hours and to charge their vehicles at night.
Hotel chains such as the Hilton have chosen to partner with Tesla and its supercharger networkor other experts from charging stations to equip their hotels. The aim is to offer their customers several recharging solutions.
Today, Marriott hotels, for example, are equipped with several types of kiosk in several hundred hotels. These kiosks are placed in strategic locations according to demand from the group's customers.
In short, you have several options to consider when it comes to recharging your customers.
It's a good start, but this type of recharging may frustrate some customers, who will have to wait a long time before being able to collect their car.
This type of top-up is very popular with users, as it can open the doors to a more occasional clientele (lunches or nights out) who are not going to spend the night in your establishment.
For this type of refill, it is more profitable to charge for it.
There is little point in setting up only very powerful charging points. For those who want to charge their vehicles overnight, they will occupy the charging point for a long time without it being necessary. For this type of situation, a more average charging point will do the trick. On the other hand, for customers who are just passing through, a more powerful charging point will be essential.
The terminals installed in hotels are divided into 3 AC power levels:
- 7 kW single-phase
- 11 kW and 22 kW three-phase
Autonomy regained per hour :
7 kW: 30-40 km
11 kw : 60-70 km
22 kW :100-120 km
Refill in alternating current (AC) Alternating current is the current that flows through the electricity network. However, the battery of an electric vehicle can store electricity in direct current (DC) only.

The price of a charging point varies according to model, brand and power. But generally speaking, the cost of a charging point is 2 to 5 times less than the cost of installing it.
The cost of installation increases according to a number of parameters, including the distance of the cable between the bollard and its power supply connection point, the potential trenches to be dug and the electrical panels to be installed.
The firm price of a bollard installation is based on a technical study. We recommend that you aim for safety and have the study carried out by IRVE-certified installers. You can ask us to carry out a technical study of your project.
All our installers are IRVE certified and are experts at the cutting edge of their field.
RFID card control will enable you to collect data and bill your customers.
We advise you to opt for a Wallbox offering 2 charge points. The cost of installation and maintenance will ultimately be cheaper than opting for 2 Wallboxes with 1 charge point.
As you will have realised, it's important to choose the right charging point, because hotels don't have the same needs, and customers don't behave in the same way as they would when charging in a shop or in town, and so on. Investing in recharging points certainly has a cost, which can be amortised more easily if the hotel charges for recharging.
The bollard must be installed by a professional who has IRVE (Charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.)
Installation costs include :
Each installation is unique, because it depends on the specific needs and location of the bollards.
Hence the need to carry out a technical study in order to establish a firm price, which corresponds to an à la carte service.

Installing a recharging point allows you to benefit from ADVENIR aid. To benefit from the ADVENIR subsidy, you will need to take out the Supervision, Subscription and Maintenance options. You will also need to hire an IRVE-qualified electrician and comply with the specifications for each type of installation.
Here are the bonus amounts:
Target | Total rate of aid | Ceiling (excl. VAT per recharging point) |
Private car park open to the public with up to 5 charging points, less than or equal to 36 kVa and outside the charging network project | 30 % | 700 excl. VAT + €300 excl. VAT surcharge for supervision = €1,000 excl. |
When it comes to administrative formalities, our Beev experts will take care of everything for you!
PLEASE NOTE:
On 1 August 2023, ADVENIR premiums for recharging points open to the general public in private car parks, including the intermediate target (hotels, restaurants and shops) will be removed.
As a result, only premium applications signed before 1 August 2023 and before the planned dedicated budget limit of €5 million will be taken into account by the ADVENIR programme.
