Install your charging stations thanks to Beev. Support from A to Z, completely free of charge, from an expert who will monitor your project.
There's no doubt about it: the electric car is the vehicle of today and tomorrow. Demand is exploding, to the point where some carmakers are behind schedule in their deliveries. One of the reasons for this is the shortage of semi-conductors. One thing is certain: the electric car is all the rage, and there's no end in sight.
So obviously, with all these factors, theinstallation of a recharging point in its establishment makes perfect sense! Indeed, if more and more users are using electric vehicles, this creates a strong need for recharging infrastructure ! These users will therefore prefer establishments offering a recharging service so that they can recharge their vehicle while enjoying a good meal.
This can help you to recoup the cost of the charging points. It takes around 2 to 3 years to recoup the cost of installing a charging point by charging users (at €0.40/kWh, which is the average market price).
Benefit from better internet referencing.
Your charging points will be visible on Google, Apple and even the manufacturers' search engines.
Stay competitive by offering more services than your competitors.
Customers with electric cars will be more likely to return to your establishment.
Electric vehicles are taking over our roads. Today, all carmakers either already offer electric vehicles or are planning to do so. In fact, electric cars will account for 10 % of the new car market in 2022. One year later electric cars are making headway in France, with a share of 13 % in January 2023. So it's vital for your hotel to stay one step ahead of the competition. By offering recharging, your hotel can attract more guests, appeal to affluent customers who spend more, and establish your brand as a player committed to sustainable development.
By investing today in charging points for electric vehicles and exploiting the crucial role of the hotel industry in today's energy transition from transport to electric vehicles, hotels will attract the customers of tomorrow.
First of all, you need to study your needs as a restaurant owner. What type of customer visits your establishment? What will their needs be in terms of recharging power? Over what period of time will they recharge?
As a catering establishment, your customers with electric vehicles will often want to recharge during their meal.
Depending on the type of restaurant you are, the time spent in your establishment generally varies between 45 minutes for brasseries and 1 h 30 for more "classic" restaurants.
To ensure ideal recharging in this short space of time, we recommend that you have 22 kW accelerated recharging stations installed.
It will also be useful to study the number of customers who will want to recharge at the same times, so you can adapt the number of chargepoints to be installed. To understand the difference between charge points and charging stations, please refer to the glossary.
Finding the right recharging point installer is a major factor in the success of your charging point installation project. Here are a few criteria to help you make your choice:

This work can take up to several months. So you need to plan ahead.
Last but not least, recovering your grants. To claim your ADVENIR programmeYou'll need to take out a supervision and maintenance contract. Supervision is software used to send information back to the charging point, enabling you to set the charging price and manage your charges remotely. The supervision contract also gives you access to a breakdown service with a hotline available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The maintenance contract entitles you to an annual check-up to ensure the safety and smooth operation of the charging points over time.

The Duo Green terminal delivers 22 kW in mode 3.
It has 2 charging points, each rated at 22 kW, so you can charge two vehicles at the same time using a single charging point. It has two sockets: a type 2S socket and an EF socket.
As well as being a connected charging point, it has an RFID reader for secure access to your charging points. In terms of protection, it has a 3.7 mm steel shell, which is anti-corrosion and powder-coated.
It meets IP54 and IK10 standards, which means it's a waterproof bollard that can be installed outdoors. It can withstand a maximum impact of 20 joules, equivalent to the impact of a shotgun blast or a small hailstone.
After 3 weeks of use, I'm completely satisfied with this bollard. It's very discreet and can be controlled remotely using an intuitive application.
Very good operation. Installation of a charging point. Very satisfied with the result.

What aids for a restaurant that wants to install charging points? The answer is simple and obvious: ADVENIR aid. To benefit from the ADVENIR subsidy, you will need to take out the Supervision, Subscription and Maintenance options. To qualify for the Advenir subsidy, you also need to choose a certified installer, so that a IRVE qualified electrician in order to comply with specifications specific to each type of installation. The administrative procedures are fairly onerous, but don't panic! Beev will take care of it for you!
The ADVENIR bonus covers supply and installation costs up to 30 % for car park charging points. private open to the public (intermediate target). This will be valid for up to 5 charging points of 36 KVA or less and outside the charging network project.
Rate of aid | Power Terminal | Ceiling excluding VAT (per recharging point) |
30 % | AC all power ratings | 700 + 300 additional premium if supervision is involved = €1,000 |
Good to know: the ADVENIR programme which was due to expire in 2022, will be extended until the end of 2025.
PLEASE NOTE:
On 1 August 2023, ADVENIR premiums for recharging points open to the general public in private car parks, including the intermediate target (hotels, restaurants and shops) will be removed.
As a result, only premium applications signed before 1 August 2023 and before the planned dedicated budget limit of €5 million will be taken into account by the ADVENIR programme.
When it comes to such strategic installations, you want everything to go smoothly. For you and for your customers.
Beev has put together a list of things you should never do if you want to install a successful charging point.
First of all, you mustn't be too greedy! To be more precise, you shouldn't installing too many charging points with a lot of power. Why do you ask?
As you can imagine, installing several charging points delivering a power of 22 kW, or more if you prefer, requires a great deal of electricity.
Power requirements will be even greater if the charging points are used simultaneously. Make sure you don't exceed the power available in your car park. It's important to know exactly how much power your car park can handle and adapt your needs accordingly.
Buying a recharging point is not just a matter of buying one at list price. Other costs need to be taken into account, such as :
As well as being compulsory if you want to access ADVENIR assistance, the terminal supervision software can make life easier if you have a problem with your terminals.
The Supervision service allows you to manage your charging stations remotely via an application. It guarantees the maintenance of your recharging infrastructure thanks to regular software updates, as well as detecting faults.
This system also provides access to a wide range of data, such as :
The supervision service also allows you to define charging rates in the event that you wish to charge for the use of your charging points.

In-company terminals allow you to :
One of the only drawbacks will be the annual maintenance costs, which are not compulsory but are necessary to qualify for the ADVENIR bonus.
There is also the significant investment cost of installation. Today, however, there are LOA-type financing solutions to ease the investment. Beev can offer this service.
For public charging points, there are also external investors who can finance the entire installation in return for a monthly or quarterly dividend on paid charging.
The benefits are very clear, so as you'll have realised, putting charging points in your restaurant car park can be a real advantage (once again, if you have a car park)!
As we said earlier, charging points can increase your income! It's up to you to decide whether or not you want to charge for recharging in order to get a return on your investment.
You have 2 options:
You can charge for recharging sessions on a fee-for-service basis, by the hour, or per kWh of electricity consumed. There are no set rules, so it's up to you to decide what suits your restaurant's customers best.
There are various ways of billing for recharging: you can manage the billing yourself or automate it, but in all cases, it's done via the recharging point's supervision system.
A terminal supervision system enables data to be fed back to users so that they can be invoiced automatically. (Recharging history, consumption, displaying the status of free or occupied charging points, defining tariffs and managing billing, geolocation, etc.).
The investment you make in recharging stations means that you will gain more customers and make more money. What's more, your CSR policy and compliance with future measures will be satisfied by installing charging stations.
It's not forbidden to offer top-ups to your restaurant's customers. It's up to you to decide what strategy you want to adopt. Perhaps the acquisition of these new customers will make it possible to offer the top-up? It's up to you to do the math!
The cost of a charging point varies according to the power it delivers. Why does this matter? First of all, a more powerful charging point will inevitably cost more, but installation will also be different. For the charging points that have been suggested to you, you should expect to pay an average of €2,500 excluding VAT.
