A charging point is an electrical device for recharging electric or hybrid vehicles from the electricity grid.
What is the difference between a recharging point and a reinforced socket?
A charging point offers a faster, more powerful solution than a reinforced socket, so you can recharge your electric vehicle more efficiently. In a single-family home, installing a reinforced socket can cost between 600 and 900 euros, which is a significant investment for a charge that is on average x times slower than a charging point.
Are the charging points compatible with all vehicles?
All the charging points we install have a universal T2S plug that works with all vehicles sold in France and Europe. This means you can charge any vehicle you want at your charging point.
How powerful are the charging points?
Charging stations come in a range of power ratings, from 3 kW to 22 kW. Some charging points can go up to 350 kW, but these are ultra-fast charging points for public charging stations, requiring an electrical infrastructure designed exclusively for this purpose.
Load shedding is an energy management function that efficiently distributes the available power between the charging point and your electrical appliances to avoid overloading your installation. It's an essential element that we understand in every one of our installations.
Can I track my consumption with the recharging point?
Yes, our model of charging point allows you to monitor your consumption, via an application or an online interface. You can also download an excel of your consumption with the costs excluding VAT for given periods.
A powerboost or load shedding system is a system that regulates the energy delivered by your charging point to avoid a disjunction (when the electricity is cut off). The powerboost will enable your charging point to adapt to the power available from your electrical installation.
Contrary to popular belief, the installation of charge points is proceeding apace, so there are no problems here. Most vehicles are compatible with all chargers, but only accept a certain number of kW/h, which means that a vehicle will charge more or less quickly. If you're still not sure, and would like to get your own home charging solution, Beev has its own network of IRVE-approved installers, and can help you with this.
How long does it take to charge my vehicle?
Recharging time depends on the capacity of the charging point and your vehicle's battery. To determine the recharge time from 0 to 100%, perform the following calculation: Battery capacity divided by charger power.
How much does a recharging point cost?
Charging station prices vary according to the model. We offer a connected model and a non-connected model, priced at 920 euros excluding VAT and 700 euros excluding VAT respectively. Then there's the cost of installation, which varies depending on the type of installation you're planning. For a quotation, click here.

In some cases, the electricity packages will need to be revised to give you more power and enable you to take full advantage of your charging point's capabilities.
Can the bollard run on solar panels?
Yes, our connected charging point model features a connection to solar panels so you can charge your vehicle using solar energy.

I don't like my bollard, can I change to another model?
A functional bollard is not eligible for replacement. However, if it does not meet your actual needs, a new quote will be required for its purchase and installation.
If your charging point is a Wallbox Copper SB, the Wallbox technical service will first carry out remote tests to determine the cause of the problem. If replacement is indeed necessary, technical support will send you a new charging point by parcel post to the address of your choice, then they will send one of their technicians to replace and collect the non-functional charging point. If your chargepoint is a Circontrol, we will not be able to replace the chargepoint. We will, however, replace the defective parts. These will be sent to you by post, and we will then arrange for one of our technicians to carry out maintenance on the bollard at a time of your choosing.
Once on site, the installer will replace the faulty parts and ensure that the bollard is working properly again.
When do I have to pay for my installation?
To validate your order, you will be asked to pay a deposit of 50 % of the total cost of your installation. In this case, the remaining 50% will be payable on delivery of the recharging point. You can also choose to pay in 3 or 4 instalments via our partners Paypal or Paypal from your personal space; you will then be debited automatically each month after your first payment.
When completing your tax return, please fill in box 7EQ. Enter the amount paid for the charging point, including VAT, and the €300 credit will automatically be applied to your tax return. If you have already paid all your tax, you will be reimbursed on your account or the sum will be deducted from your next tax bill.
When will I receive my charging point?
The average delivery time for a charging point is one week from the date of signing your quote and receipt of payment. Beev adapts to your needs and can, if you wish, schedule delivery of the charging point at a later date, depending on your preferences and what was agreed with you when you placed the order.
I haven't received a cable with my charging point. Is this normal?
Unfortunately, delivery of the T2 charging cable is not included in our charging point installation packages. However, we can add the T2 cable to your offer (you can choose a 5m cable or a 7m cable). Please do not hesitate to contact us at the following email address [email protected] to add the cable to your quote.
How do I send my energy consumption to my company for reimbursement?
You can download an excel spreadsheet of your consumption with costs excluding VAT for given periods via the application. This table can be transferred to the departments responsible for reimbursements within your company.

What should I do if my electrical system trips?
An installation that disconnects can have several causes. It may be that your charging point is not adapted to the power you are drawing. If your charging point is not equipped with a powerboost, the energy delivered by it cannot be regulated and is therefore delivered in excessive quantities.
If, on the other hand, you have a powerboost and your installation still switches off, this means that it is not set up correctly: If you have a Copper SB Wallbox, go to your MyWallbox application and proceed as follows: settings → upgrade → powerboost. Once you've reached this stage, you'll need to enter the power in amps of your entire installation.
To find it, you need to transpose your kVA package into amperes (you can refer to the table below). Then save your entry and the RXTX code will light up on the screen of your powerboost; this means that the setting is effective and that the load shedding is working correctly.
The cable is stuck in the charging point. What should I do?
If your cable is stuck in the charging point, please start a charge and then cancel it to see if the cable unlocks. Once the charge has been cancelled, and if you hear a slight noise (the cable unlocks from the chargepoint), you can pull the cable out (you may need to use a little force to remove it, but without tearing it from the chargepoint). If you have a Wallbox charging point, you can go to the application and then to the settings and select "lock cable" or "unlock cable". If you still cannot remove it, we will need to call in a technician to unblock the cable. In this case, please contact us at [email protected]
