Tout ce qu'il faut savoir sur la marque Jaguar électrique
The company was founded in 1922 as the Swallow Sidecar Company. It wasn't until 1945, after the Second World War, during which the manufacturer had to halt production to help the war effort, that it changed its name to Jaguar and relaunched its car production. The company was then taken over by the American giant Ford in 1989.
With more than 75 years of history and experience, Jaguar is today a legendary manufacturer that combines luxury and sporty British style.
Since the 2000s, Jaguar has been targeting a broader customer base by adopting more fuel-efficient engines, notably diesel versions, for less elitist models.
Its first electric car was unveiled in 2016 and launched in 2018: the Jaguar i-Pace.
In keeping with the times, and in response to new regulations, Jaguar is developing its electric car range with the eagerly awaited J-Pace and Type-E Zero.
