Based on the PSA Group's new e-CMP platform, the Peugeot e-208 has been designed from the drawing board to be adaptable in a 100% electric version. With its 100 kW (136 hp) engine and 260 Nm of torque, the Peugeot e-208 retains the dynamic character of its predecessors. In its sport mode, the 0 to 100 kmp/h is achieved in 8.1 s, making the electric version the most spirited in the engine range.
Recharging takes 16 h from a standard household socket, 8 h to 5h15 from a household terminal and just 30 mins from a 100 kW rapid terminal.
The electric version of the Peugeot 208 stands out from its internal combustion counterparts with a full grille featuring body-color inserts and a dichroic lion, full wheels for improvedaerodynamics and "e" monograms to underline the electric motorization.
Inside the Peugeot e-208 is a technological revolution. Based on the i-Cockpit of the Peugeot 508 and 3008, the e-208 features a small, agile steering wheel and fully digital instrumentation. The dashboard features a 10-inch screen that adapts to your driving style.
A new feature introduced on the new Peugeot e-208, the superimposition of information gives the impression of a 3D dial. The center console also features the brand's signature piano keys, giving the interior a sporty feel. Above the air vents, the main screen is available in 5-, 7- and 10-inch versions, depending on trim level or options chosen.

The 208's new chassis is at its best on the electric version, which boasts the best performance in the engine range. Torque is instantaneous, and the 0 to 100 kmp/h sprint takes 8.1 seconds in "sport" mode. With a range of 340 km on a normalized cycle, we're forgetting about the eco mode, which offers the best efficiency. We prefer the "normal" mode for everyday comfort. It's also possible to choose between two regenerative braking modes: the "moderate" mode resembles the deceleration of a combustion-powered vehicle, while the "increased" mode is almost a one-pedal drive.
