Install your connected charging station and make the transition to ecomobility

A connected charging point is a charging station that is simply connected to the Internet. This type of charging station allows you to remotely manage and monitor energy consumption.

Every time the vehicle is plugged in, the charging station sends data to a backup platform, more commonly known as the cloud. Intelligent charging then adapts the charge according to the data collected. This feature regulates charging speed, power and time. 

When the terminal is connected to the Internet, you can control the charging station using an application linked to the terminal.

You can :

• Monitor the status of your terminal remotely 
• Activate or deactivate the remote charging station 
• Monitor your terminal's consumption (charging speed, duration and power)
• Schedule a time when you want to recharge your electric vehicle and take advantage of off-peak times to reduce the cost of your recharge.

Of course, for this remote system to work, make sure you have a stable Internet connection.

As with all bollards, the installation price is not fixed. It varies according to your project and needs. The cost will depend on a number of factors, including :

• The number of connected charging stations to be installed 
• Electric vehicles: depending on charging capacity, charging cables, etc.
• The power delivered by charging stations
• Location of connected terminals
• Bollard make and model 

As a rough guide, if you're a private individual and want to install a connected charging station, you'll need to budget between €1,400 and €2,000 for installation. 

In addition, under article 278-0 Bis, you can also benefit from the 5.5% VAT rate of the Energy Transition Tax Credit (CITE), provided that :

• Your home must have been completed more than 2 years ago.
• Installation and supply of the terminal must be included on a single invoice.
• The bollard you wish to install must meet the following standards of NF15-100 standards.
• The installer must be IRVE (Infrastructure de Recharge pour Véhicules Électriques) certified.

However, if your home is less than 2 years old, the 20% VAT rate will apply.

If you are a company, the budget varies according to the number of terminals to be installed:

• 1 terminal: €1,800 to €3,000
• 2 terminals: €3,000 to €5,000
• For more than 2 terminals, you'll need to budget more than €5,000. If you wish, you can discuss this directly with one of our Beev experts.

The amount of the tax credit for the installation of an electric vehicle charging station is :

• 500 per charging system for a connected terminal
• 300 € per charging system for a non-connected terminal, with or without load shedding

The difference in price between the two types of terminal is due to the additional features offered by connected terminals.
