All about the BMW i3s
Performance
The BMW i3s is a 100% electric vehicle. The maximum power output of the BMW i3s is 135 kW (184 hp), and it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds.
Price
The BMW i3s starts at €43,550 for sale in France. This price includes VAT. This price excludes ecological bonus which is deducted from the purchase price of a new clean vehicle in France. In addition to the ecological bonus, you may also be eligible for the conversion bonus and regional grants.
Refill
The BMW i3s battery has a total capacity of 42.2 kWh. Usable capacity is 37.9 kWh. Range is around 310 km with a 100% charged battery. Actual range, however, will depend on a number of factors, including climate, road conditions, whether or not air conditioning is used, and driving style.
Recharging is via a Type 2 connector, and the on-board charger has a maximum output of 11 kW. This means that a fully discharged battery can be recharged in around 4 hours 15 minutes. Charging the car using a domestic wall socket will take around 19 hours and 30 minutes.
Fast charging is possible via a CCS connection. The maximum fast-charging power is 50 kW. The battery cannot be charged continuously at this power. In an average fast charge session, the average charging power will be around 47 kW. This enables the battery to be charged from 10% to 80% in around 36 minutes.
