How do you recharge while on vacation on the freeway?

With ever greater autonomy and a network of recharging stations covering the whole of France, it's now possible to go on holiday with an electric car. It's now possible to go on vacation with an electric car.

To optimize your journey time, we advise you to use fast-charging stations to shorten the recharging time of your electric vehicle. However, you need to take into account the maximum recharging capacity your vehicle can accommodate to avoid extra costs. For example, if you have to pay for a 75 kW charge when your vehicle can only handle a maximum charge of 45 kW.

To ensure that the charging stations are compatible with your vehicle, we advise you to find out in advance about the charging station networks on your route. For example, the ionity charging network, for example, which is present on most French and European freeways, will enable you to travel with peace of mind thanks to its map showing the location of the various charging points, so you can plan an optimum route for recharging your electric vehicle. In fact, this network will make your travels throughout Europe much easier, thanks to its 400 charging stations, scheduled for installation by the end of 2020. What's more, you can also use the Chargemap Pass to access several networks in France in addition to ionity, to ensure a smooth journey.

Once you've arrived at your destination, you'll need to choose a site equipped with recharging sockets to ensure that you can use your electric vehicle every day during your vacation.
