To install and purchase charging stations for electric vehicles, the French government offers assistance under the ADVENIR program.
This program finances the supply and installation of charging points for electric vehicles:
- individual or shared in multi-family housing up to 50
- 20% for private use by employees and fleets
- private parking lot open to the public and intermediate target of 30%.
The Advenir program is financed by CEE (Certificats d'Économie d'Énergie) to help reduce the cost of the work required to install an electric car charging station.
Please note: Individuals wishing to install a charging station for their own home will not be eligible for this bonus. The ADVENIR program does not contribute to the financing of charging stations for single-family homes.
Yes, this aid is a tax credit designed to help reduce bills for home insulation or equipment that reduces energy consumption.
To qualify, the work must be carried out on your home, whether you own, rent or occupy it free of charge. This new tax credit applies whether your home is your primary or secondary residence. You can benefit from this new aid for the acquisition of a charging station for expenditure incurred between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2023.
For home electric car charging stations, the figure is 75%. These are permanently installed electric vehicle charging stations that enable charging via a dedicated socket (and not the installation of a non-dedicated domestic socket). It is offered - in addition to ADVENIR aid - by the French government to reduce the cost of installing a charging station.
