With a single-gear gearbox, the electric car is fast and extremely responsive from start-up, delivering maximum torque much more immediately. What's more, some electric family sedans even rival combustion-powered vehicles. Indeed, the Tesla S for example, develops over 700 hp, while a Porsche 911 Turbo S develops just 560 hp.
In this way, the electric car is helping to establish vehicles and electric SuperCars. In the context of the current energy transition, it was more than necessary for automakers to ensure the future of mobility by adapting the electric car to the different expectations of motorists. Rimac C_Two
Second car from the Croatian manufacturer of electric supercars. Scheduled for 2021 and available from 1.7 million, the C_Two is powered by four electric motors developing up to 1,915 hp and maximum torque of 2,300 Nm. What's more, its powertrain enables it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.8 seconds, with a top speed of over 400 km/h.
Powered by a 120 kWh battery, the C_Two will allow you to travel up to 650 km while delivering on its performance promise thanks to all-wheel drive and sophisticated launch control.
When it comes to on-board technology, the Rimac C_Two places great emphasis on safety and driving comfort. It is equipped with eight cameras, two lidars, six radars and twelve ultrasonic sensors for fully autonomous driving.

Tesla Roadster
Introduced in 2017, the Tesla Roadster is a sporty and definitely fast electric car. Scheduled for production in 2020, the Roadster will normally be available in 2022. Nevertheless, Tesla is no stranger to delays, so this date may also be postponed.
Positioned by Tesla as the fastest vehicle on the market, the Roadster is designed to take on any vehicle on the race track, regardless of its powertrain.
The fast electric car from Tesla has a claimed range of 1,000 km powered by its 200 kWh battery. What's more, the Roadster's powertrain will enable you to reach a top speed of over 400 km/h and sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.1 seconds. The Tesla is far superior to the best-known supercars. The Bugatti Chiron 1,500 hp, for example, takes just 2.5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h.
As a reminder, Tesla's various performance announcements are, for the moment, no more than claims. Nevertheless, Tesla knows how to keep most of its promises. However, Tesla Tesla has not yet given any information about the powertrain, apart from the presence of three electric motors and 10,000 Nm of torque.

Tesla Model S Plaid
Available from €104,990, the Tesla Model S also has an entry-level finish that focuses more on range than performance. In terms of powertrains, the Model X has exactly the same characteristics, giving you the choice between sedan and SUV within Tesla.
Tesla's sedan has a WLTP range of 637 km, thanks to its 100 kWh battery. What's more, it reaches 100 km/h in just 2.1 seconds, thanks to its 1,020 hp engine.
The Ludicrous driving mode lets you transform your Tesla Model S into a SuperCar for real performance on the racetrack.
When it comes to recharging, Tesla is deploying a network of fast-charging stations, known as "Superchargers", which can charge from 10% to 80% in just 15 minutes.

Porsche Taycan Turbo S
The Porsche Taycan is the automaker's first electric car. Available from €181,152 in its fastest Turbo S trim, the Taycan also has an entry-level trim from €108,632.
Available in three trim levels: 4S, Turbo and Turbo S. It develops up to 751 hp and 1,050 Nm of torque in the Turbo S trim. This trim also offers an overboost function to maximize performance on the road.
Thanks to this feature, the Taycan Turbo S can easily accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds.
In terms of range, the manufacturer has announced a maximum range of 400 km for the Turbo S trim level. In addition, a top speed of 260 km/h is available, while maintaining the promised range.

Jaguar i-Pace
On sale since 2018, the Jaguar I-Pace is the British automaker's first electric car. Available from €79,990, the I Pace features a design that reassures its positioning as a premium SUV.
Luxury and performance Jaguar i-Pace features two electric motors distributed between the front and rear of the vehicle, enabling it to develop up to 294 kW, or 400 hp, and reach a top speed of 200 km/h.
On the other hand, the 90 kWh battery fitted to the I Pace enables it to travel up to 470 km in the WLTP cycle, and requires a 44-minute quick charge to complete its range from 10% to 80%.
With a powertrain comparable to the F-TYPE SVRthis SUV has all the characteristics of a fast electric car.

Mercedes EQC
On sale since 2019, the Mercedes EQC is an electric SUV from the EQ Group set up by Mercedes.
Available from €78,950, the EQC stands out for its aesthetics, based on the Concept Car established by Mercedes in 2016.
The EQC is powered by an engine developing up to 300 kW (408 hp), enabling the Mercedes to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 180 km/h. What's more, with its 85 kWh battery, you can reach up to 414 km on the WLTP cycle.
In terms of fast charging, the EQC is equipped with a CSS Combo socket, enabling a charge from 10% to 80% in 35 minutes.
