The Centre-Val-de-Loire region is currently deploying charging stations!
As France moves towards 100% electric mobility, the Centre-Val-de-Loire region is also in the midst of an energy transition. In fact, according to figures fromAvere-France dating from July 2022, 2,674 charging points have been installed in the region, which is still not enough to meet the growing demand from motorists.
To speed up the deployment of charging stations, the Conseil Régional have identified recharging needsin particular :
- draw up a plan to increase the deployment of charging stations in the region
- become independent of fossil fuels in the wake of recent events (war in Ukraine and energy supply tensions)
- aim to install 6,000 charging points by 2025

When choosing your next charging station, there are several criteria to consider, including :
- the charging power your electric vehicle can handle
- the number of times you recharge your car
- distance covered each day
Once you have met these criteria, you will be offered 4 types of terminal:
- 3.7 kW for 15 km per charging hour
- 7.4 kW for 30 km per charging hour
- 11 kW for 60 km per hour of charging
- 22 kW for 120 km per hour of charging

According to the decree of January 12, 2017, charging points must be installed by installers who have obtained the IRVE (Infrastructure de Recharge pour Véhicules Électriques) qualification, for an installation with a charging power greater than 3.7 kW. Thanks to this qualification, the installer will be able to apply for the Advenir premium.
Without this, it will not be possible to install a terminal. As for the choice of installation, don't worry. We have selected selected installers who are experts who can answer all your questions.
If you want to install one or more low-cost charging stations in Orléans, the French government has thought of everything.
To encourage everyone to make their energy transition, since 2016 the State has set up the ADVENIR program. This financial assistance is available to individuals, businesses and automotive service professionals.
If you live in a single-family home, you can take advantage of the tax credit, which covers 75% of the cost up to a maximum of €300. You can also benefit from reduced VAT rate of 5.5 if your home is more than 2 years old.
As far as regional aid is concerned, the Loiret region is not currently offering any additional assistance for the installation of charging stations.
If you live in a condominium in Orléans, premiums range from €960 to €1,600, depending on whether the terminal is used for individual or collective use. Here are the amounts:

Please note: if you live in a single-family home in Orléans, you won't be eligible for ADVENIR assistance, as the program doesn't offer a bonus for this type of dwelling.
If you live in a condominium in Orléans, you are entitled to the right to for the installation of a charging station in your parking lot. According to decree n°2020-1720this aid entitles you to install a charging point in your parking space, at your own expense.
If you want to install charging stations in your own home, you can claim a tax credit. This government subsidy will enable you to finance the installation of low-cost charging stations. The state will cover 75% of the total cost, up to a maximum of €300 per charging system.
Please note: if a single person applies for the installation of a charging station, this assistance is limited to one charging system. On the other hand, if a couple also applies, the tax credit is limited to 2 charging systems in a primary residence and 2 charging systems in a secondary residence. In the latter case, the amount of the tax credit can total up to €1,200.
To access it, here are the conditions:
- live in France as a primary or secondary residence (owner, tenant or free occupant)
- as far as income is concerned, there's no limit. Regardless of income level, anyone living in a single-family home can qualify for the tax credit.
For professionals, bonuses are granted for installation in private parking lots for car fleets, employeesfleets of heavy vehicles, open to the public and on roads. Here are the amounts for these different beneficiaries:

As Advenir premiums are extended to the end of 2025 with a larger budget, the collaboration between Mobilians and Advenir have made it possible to open up support for automotive service professionals, encouraging the deployment of recharging points in 2022.
This aid consists of 2 separate bonuses:
- fleets and employees
- charging points open to the public
The bonus for fleets and employees is 25%, with a maximum of €750 per recharging point.
For charging points open to the public, the subsidy rate is 50%. The amount varies between €1,700 and €15,000, depending on the charging capacity chosen:
