About Aiways
Aiways was founded by Fu Qian, former Volvo sales director in China. One of the company's first models, the Aiways U5, was released in November 2018 and cleared for the European market. With the first delivery of 500 Aiways U5 electric SUVs arriving in Corsica, Aiways has become the first Chinese start-up to deliver EVs to Europe. The Aiways electric SUVs have arrived in Corsica and are available for rental to residents and tourists to enable them to discover the island. The partnership was signed with Hertz Corsica, operated by local company Filippi Auto.
